Annual Christmas Campaign Helps New Families

Christmas is just around the corner and Salvation Army units throughout Georgia have kicked off the Red Kettle Christmas campaign.

Over the next few weeks thousands of families right here in Georgia will experience a happier holiday season because of the work of The Salvation Army and the generosity of our friends in Georgia. 

And in the months following Christmas thousands more will come to our doors seeking emergency food, shelter, spiritual counsel, wholesome recreation or some other important service we offer.  Families who never imagined they would need the help of The Salvation Army are now seeking assistance because of the ecomonic downturn which has created dire circumstances for them.  Read more...

Anyone Can Host an Online Red Kettle

Hosting an Online Red Kettle is a great way to encourage donations to help The Salvation Army in your community.  You can host a personal Red Kettle and invite friends via e-mail to go to your customized Online Red Kettle site and contribute toward the goal that you select to raise. 

Or you can host an Online group Red Kettle for your church, civic group, school, circle of friends or organization.  When you host a group Red Kettle, you can establish teams with members that all have their own personalized Red Kettle site where their own goals and results tie into your group Red Kettle goal.  Read more...
