The Salvation Army throughout Georgia is serving people every day of the year. From helping a family with a bag of groceries to providing a bed for them to sleep in, we are there because our friends and supporters want us there as much as we feel a need to serve. Here are just a few of the services offered thanks to our generous supporters as we strive to live up to our promise of Doing The Most Good.



As of October 1, 2010 The Salvation Army in Georgia:

Served over 2 million through social services

Provided 659,054 nights of lodging in Salvation Army facilities

Distributed 211,385 toys to children

Prepared and served 666,225 meals

Provided 67,756 with Job Training

Helped 972,712 through boys & girls club, worship & bible study, support groups and music education
